Hickox is the first person quarantined under a  strict new policy  enacted by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. The 21-day quarantine order followed news that a New York doctor who had recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea  tested positive for the disease . Hickox was quarantined on Friday after flying into Newark Liberty International Airport from Sierra Leone, where she had been working with Doctors Without Borders treating Ebola patients. She  has been placed under isolation since then  despite testing negative for Ebola. The White House says it will seek to Reverse the New York, New Jersey's Ebola quarantine orders according to the NYT.  The New York times is reporting that the white House is Pressurizing the 2 States, New York and New Jersey to reverse the order.  My Take is ? Who comes up with such NONSENSE that is neither based on fact but Simply medical Fiction.  All this will do is to discourage Volunteers from volunteering and will cause so many unintended consequences including taking away basic rights from people.  This smacks of Political Pay Back..... #EbolaFacts not Fiction. 

21-day monitoring for #Ebola? Is that really the Answer? From a Medical Perspective, it is Wrong.  This will make health care workers not want to treat people or help in African countries afflicted by the Disease.  Why was this response not done and Isolation and Quarantine done when SARS came out in Asia?
